My favorite childhood game was SORRY. I enjoyed this boardgame because it a race to get all of your game pieces home, but you have the chance to bump people back home and get revenge if they send you back to start.

The Crucible

In the first half of  "The Crucible" a group of have been accused of witchcraft. They were discovered in the forest in the process of a spirtual ritual. The youngest girl is in a deep slumber, her father and the town are very alarmed. The girls are nervous and scared, they are unknowing of their fate if the truth is reveal so they contiune to lie about the mysterious event. In the first half a love affair is also reveal  were age and marriage plays a big part in.

I think the education I recieved here in MST is a rate of 5.  I gave it a rate of 5 because of the distribution of the information. The AP History book really did not help in history the way we are going over the topics and the short powerpoints now are extremely better. Lying

When I am caught in a lie I just confess. What determines if I confess is when my initial lie did not work or if I can not remember the lie I told. A recent experience I had was when I was in weight lifting and we had to do lunges. I walked up and acted like I had did them, but Chip was watching the whole time and asked me did I do them. I was about to lie and say yes, but I knew he saw me and could not lie about it.

The worst crimanl to me in American History is Rodney Alcala. Rodney Alcala is currently in prison for a killing spry of more than 100 people; also convicted as a rapist. He was known to torture his prisoners before killing them.

Industrial Revolution

Industry means the organized action of making of goods and services for sale. The Industrial Revolution was a period in time when machines began to take over the process of production and creating goods. The Industrial Revolution began 1820 and lasted until 1870.

Marriage

From analyzing this table you can infer that marriage at age 18 in USA is not a common thing; at this age Americans are still exploring and enjoying life. The number that alarmed me is the precentage of marriage amoung girls in Niger.

Best President

I think the best president of all time is Abraham Lincoln. I think Lincoln is the best because he did away with slavery by the Emancipation Proclamation, which soon resulted uniting the US and giving equal rights among citizens. He also united the state's military and addressed that a soliders that died shoud be honored by the  Gettysburg address.

Dictator

As I arise from my sleeping slumber around 8:00am to greet my fellow servants. I start my day by arresting about 20 people and watch them be tortured. Then I create more rules and laws for my empire.

Hoovervilles

Hoovervilles:   built camp put up usually on the edge of a town to house the dispossessed and destitute during the depression of the 1930s

•  Unemployment figures were very high, and many people did not have the money to pay their rents or mortgages caused the production of Hoovervilles

Compromises

Compromise of 1850:  Its goal was to deal with the spread of slavery to territories in order to keep northern and southern interests in balance. This compromise was a series of five bills.

Compromise of 1877:  Was an attempt to prevent a second outbreak of violence. It also was intended to provide financial subsidies to the South, although that did not come to pass.

Political Machine

Political Machine a local or state political organization. They get their power from immagates coming to the US to try to persuade them to vote for them. Goverment programs that help them to adjust to the new world and literacy test.

Point of View

Accepting who one is shows gratitude for being born into this world. Changing who someone is for the benefit of others displays a sense of ungratefulness and lack of self-confidence. Why not be proud of who one is? Who is to say he or she is nobody just because of his or her skin tone? The person who says it is exposing himself or herself as a hypocrite unworthy of someone's presence.

My most mermorable distinctive memory was hanging out with my friends.  When we were together we would ride around or visit the mall. When we would return, we played basketball untill night and then relaxed.

Grow Up

When i grow up I would like to be an architect. Design things and watching it come to life is something i'll like to be part of. The career that I would like to try would also become a professional football player, but the results after retirement and the injuries could be a blemish to that want.

Gilded vs Progressive

Gilded: great social change and economic growth, rapid industrialization, urbanization, the construction of great transcontinental railroads, innovations in science and technology, and the rise of big business.

Progressive:  forward-looking political movement that attempted to redress some of the ills that had arisen during the Gilded Age,  passed legislation to rein in big business, combat corruption, free the government from special interests, and protect the rights of consumers, workers, immigrants, and the poor.

Wilson's 14 Points

Wilson's 14 Points were first outlined in a speech Wilson gave to the American Congress in January 1918. It became the basis for a peace programme.

World War I started because the assination of Austrian Arch Duke. US got invovled because the explosion of an American ship, and America blaming Britain because of the explosion. The inventions invented were machince guns, and planes.

Difference between Conceding, Qualifying, and Refuting

The difference betweem conceding, qualifying, and refuting is that conceding is going along with or agreeing with a statement/quote and refuting means to go against or disagree with a statement/quote. Qualifying means that you have an open view to an subject.

Muckracker

Muckracker were a group of writer that exposed the negatives of the 1900s. Upton Sinclair was considered one because he let the unhealthness and uncleanliness of the food company in Packingtown. The most disturbing thing I read was the injuries recieved while working and the processes they used when producing their food.
